Methodology: I look at the stats from each game in the season and adjust for where the game was played. This creates a base rating in each stat. The actual rating is base rating + opponent adjustment. The opponent adjustment is based on the actual rating, which creates a loop. This loop adjusts and readjusts around 10,000 times to get the most stable estimate.
Offense and Defense are shots taken and conceded. TSR is the percent of total shots in a game a team takes and goal diff. is goal differential.
